Salah satu film briliant dari james cammeron, menceritakan tentang Jake Sully seorang mantan marinir yang mengalami kecelakaan, hal ini menyebabkan kakinya tak bisa ia gunakan. Akan tetapi dengan dorongan dari saudara kembarnya yang merupakan seorang ilmuan, Jake berangkat menuju planet pandora walaupun saudaranya telah tiada. Akhirnya Jake pun dikontrak untuk menggantikan saudara kembarnya dalam proyek avatar.
Avatar adalah salah satu proyek penggabungan dna antara manusia dengan penduduk asli suatu planet kemudian dikendalikan jarak jauh oleh pemakai avatar. Avatar digunakan untuk berbaur dan memahami berbagai hal tentang penduduk alami suatu planet, dalam Pandora, ini adalah suku Na'vi.
Karena suatu hal yang tak terduga Jake yg seorang marinir justru diterima oleh para Na'vi. Akhirnya Jake diterima untuk belajar menjadi seorang Omaticayan atau penduduk lokal rumah pohon didampingi oleh Neytiri, putri dari pemimpin para Omaticayan. Apakah yang terjadi berikutnya??
Film ini merupakan salah satu film termahal dengan budget hampir mencapai $500 juta. James Cameron yang notabene sutradara dari titanic, film yang menggunakan spesial efek yang cukup menakjubkan pada masanya, menggarap film ini dengan cerita yang simple namun dengan durasi 3 jam penuh tanpa membuat penonton bosan. Hal ini terjadi karena penonton terus-menerus disuguhkan CGI/spesial efek yang dapat membuat mata berdecak kagum. Selain hal ini, khayalan/imaginasi James Cameron juga mendukung restrukturisasi dari pemandangan indah diseluruh pandora. Spesial efek mutakhir dan pemandangan indah pandora belum lengkap tanpa detail yang disuguhkan, berbagai hal-hal kecil sangat diperhatikan sehingga membuat kita benar-benar merasa menjelajahi pandora dengan segala vegetasi dan animalia yang ada didalamnya tergabung menjadi suatu pengalaman spektakuler. Imajinasi James Cameron tidak berhenti di hanya dikeindahan dalam pandora yang sangat dionjolkan saja, tetapi robot-robot dan pesawat canggih nan mutakhir-pun diturunkan dengan detail yang amat mencolok. Segala aspek ini betul-betul membuat kita tidak hanya berada dalam pandora tapi tepat ditengah peperangan yang terjadi.

A girl and A Giant

In a village, there was one girl who is sick, her symptoms are fever, headaches, nausious, sore throat and unwilling to eat. No witch doctor in her village could heal her, so she goes to a famous doctor outside her village. The doctor is a giant who is famous for healing almost any kind of disease. The giant then give treatment to the girl without giving any information regarding her sickness. But the treatment makes things worse, even her throat are sweling now. At first the giant say what she has is the famous disease called "Bloody Fever" but when her throat swell, the giant realize that he was wrong. When the girls think this is enough, she decided to go home from the giant place. After the incident the girl told all of her village people about the giant and what happened to her. So does the news spread to the giant ears. After the giant heard about this, he was outrageus. He then came to the village and and demand explanation to the girl and take this matter to the court of law. Tipical, the giant wins the case and demand money as exchange of his losses. But the girl was not the rich kind who can pay those kind amount of money. So,the good people of her village who heard about this case and felt injustice stand up and rally a campaign. They travel to other tribe village to collect coin from all the tribe people. Lot's of people felt sorry and compasion for the girl and give all their coin for her. Now, the sum of all the coin has exceed the giant demand, even more than three times from it. The girl is happy now, and wish to built a house that protects anymore people from suffering like her. By now, you all should have guessed, the girl name was prita.

A kid name CENTURY..

Once upon a time there's a kid called Century, he has a lot of brothers and sisters. His parents loved him so much, more than they do to their other children. So one day century asked for a cookie and say that is because he was hungry. His parents know that usually century can look for food by himself because his parents always gave him allowance just like all of their children. But this time, after a great meeting is held between the two of them, they deicided to give them the cookie. At first they thought one cookie was enough but century just can't help it, he asked again the second time, the third time and more. Their parents just can't stop giving the cookie because they thought that be giving cookie to century it'll give spirit to their other children to survive the food crisis. Their decicion maybe right and century survived but the problem is not over. They thought wrong about the number of cookies to give to century, the first plan was just to give 1-3 cookies but they ended up giving 20 cookies. And the cookies was not of their own, some of them or a lot of them was their neighbor cookies that was stored in their kitchen. Now cnetury parents must face the angry neighbor who wants their cookies back. And surprisingly all of those cookies that they had given to century was not fot century alone, century spread it to his pet then to his friends and even to his friends pet. So century parents decided to hide this matter, but all century friends can't help telling stories to their parents. So all of century neighbor know and demand explanation. So? how are you going to do it century parents? We'll just watch it on the news then..
